FLIGHTS -For the coast, Bourgas is the nearest airport and is about 25 mins away and transfers can be arranged. The flight time is under 3 hours. Also consider Varna which has more flights. It is about one and a half hours away but transfers are available. You can also get to Varna via Sofia, This may reduce your flight costs if you use the low cost operators - see below. For Sofia the airport is very close to the apartment and a taxi ride is only about £5.00.
Latest flight news - EASYJET TO FLY TO SOFIA - Easyjet now fly from Gatwick to Sofia. Great news for a stay in Sofia.
ALSO WIZZAIR (a low cost airline) are introducing flights from Sofia to Varna at very low promotional prices. This means you also have the option of flying to Sofia and then on to Varna if Watermill St Vlas is your preferred summer destination.
