Sveti Vlas (also known as St. Vlas) is a beautiful coastal village of approximately 3000 inhabitants, situated just 5 kilometers north of Sunny Beach and 9 kilometres from the Historic World Heritage site of Nessebar. The distance from Burgas airport is about 25 mins by taxi and just over an hour from Varna airport. Airport transfers can be arranged for you from either airport.

ABOUT ST VLAS - This resort is nestled at the foot of the Balkan mountain range. It has been developed into a modern beach destination during recent years, with brand new hotels, apartments and tourist facilities. This makes it a popular destination for holidaymakers, who want to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain while having fun on the beach. The natural conditions of mountain, forest, sea and the southern exposure of the slopes, are extremely healthy and contribute to a relaxing holiday.







There are 2 sandy beaches within a few minutes walk of the apartment. They are both adjacent to the new Marina and offer beach bars and hire of sun beds and parasols for you to laze around before relaxing in the inviting sea.

THE VILLAGE OF ST VLAS - As well as the resort facilities there is also all the amenities of a traditional Bulgarian village available. This includes many restaurants with entertainment where you can enjoy some splendid meals for as little as £5 per person. The cost of living is very cheap in Bulgaria and a glass of wine or a beer costs as little as 50p.  The central square in the village is a popular place to watch the world go by from the roof top restaurants whilst you enjoy a cool drink. Supermarkets and tourist shops are all in abundance in the village and a health centre and banks can also be found. There is even a beauty salon where you can enjoy a massage at a fraction of the cost in the UK!
There are also internet cafes in the village and the resort if you wish to keep up with your e mail and contact those at home to tell them what a wonderful holiday you are having! A favourite also in the internet cafes is internet games. Prices are very cheap too at about 50p per hour.
Telephone facilities with cheap calls to the UK and all over the world can also be found on the main street.

SUNNY BEACH  is the neighbour to Vlas being only 5kms away and very easily accessible by regular bus, boat and taxi services. It is a large resort with a long wide sandy beach. There are many attractions to keep young and old alike amused. There are many watersports facilities and para-gliding as well as 2 Aqua-Parks nearby. There are many shops selling fake designer wear at a fraction of the cost of the real thing! For the night birds there is an abundance of discos and clubs as well as bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Most of the bars have live entertainment and sports on large screen TVs.

OLD NESSEBAR -There are frequent buses to this World Heritage Site situated only 5 minutes from Sunny Beach. You can also travel by boat from Vlas or Sunny Beach.  It is a wonderful place to stroll around and enjoy a meal overlooking the harbour or the sea. There are bargains to be had amongst the many shops and market stalls against the backdrop of the splendid ancient buildings and churches. The medieval churches are remarkable sites of Nessebar. In the past there were more than 40, but only a few are still standing. The basilicas, most famous among these - the Old Bishopric, are early Christian.

CAR HIRE is relatively cheap and very easy to book. There is at least one car hire company in St Vlas. Alternatively you can arrange this before you arrive.
